BLEACH


The world of bleach is set in present times in a Japanese city known as Karakura Town. When people die, their spirits are released to walk the earth. If they are full of regret from their past lives, then they will change into a bad spirit. Also known as a hollow that originate in the desert wasteland of Hueco Mundo.

These demonic creatures take on the appearance of strange beasts with a white mask of bone over their faces. They have no sense or memory, just the need to eat. This means Normal spirits have to be careful as hollows are out to digest them and remove them from history all together.

However, this is where the Shinigami come in. These people are part of a large organisation of Thirteen squads known as the Gotei or Thirteen guard squads. these guys slay hollows and pass spirits on to the Soul society, a place of rest.

Shinigami are equipped with a Zanpakutou. this is their natural weapon. they take on different appearances through three separate stages. The sealed state is usually a sword. The Shikai state can be any conventional weapon with several abilities. the Bankai is a step further than this with ultimate powers.

Later, a new breed of hollow was introduced in Hueco Mundo. These were called the Arrancar and took on the aspects of the Shinigami with a zanpakutou of their own. They used to be hollow, now their something more. Their swords only give two stages of power: their sealed state and a second known as their resserecion. This alters their body to gain parts of their original hollow self. these can include horns, wings, fangs etc. This is able to become on par with the Shinigami Bankai. the Arrancar built a fortress with the aid of a traitorous Shinigami know as Aizen and created the Espada: the ten strongest Arrancar around.

Now, these two races, along with several other races are at war. The Bounts are a strange race that humans would refer to as vampires. However, they use a strange doll creation that gives them their powers. Another race, the Quincy, are rivals of the Shinigami and wield ranged weapons made of energy. usually bows. If a Shinigami were to take on the aspect of a hollow rather than the other way round for an Arrancar, they would become a Vizard. these Shinigami gain a powerful mask power that makes them exceed Bankai state if controlled. However, most don't get far enough through madness for that to happen.

SOUL EATER


In the past, the Lord of death we have come to know as "Shinigami" created a city in the middle of an enchanted desert. This city was known as Death City and held a Victorian Halloween theme. Right at the top, he created an academy known as "Shibusen" of which he gathered students to learn how to defend their new city.

These students had a choice. Weapon or technician. The technicians would wield the weapons and the weapons will become their force of attack. The technicians would have all the fighting skill where the weapons had the forms and offensive capabilities. Each weapon and technician can only eb assigned to each other if their souls could reach out to each other. If they tried to use a brand new weapon, it would be hard to even lift it because their souls don't match. Some however can match to multiple different weapons.

If a weapon and technician could hear each other souls, they could link with "soul resonance". This boosts their power to a stronger level for finishing their prey. Soon, students realised that technicians and weapons can resonate with other technicians and weapons to form a team resonation for the ultimate power.

Later on, a race of humans known as "witches" started to flock. Their powers were linked to magic and spells which proved trouble for Shibusen and Shinigami. So, they began to wage war. Another kind of human, the enchanters, chose to align with the witches. these guys can meld Golems and structures out of the earth to use in combat.

When somebody dies, their soul appears above their corpse, helpless. A blue soul represents an innocent soul. Eating these would cause the host to leap into insanity. But only if enough is eaten. red souls are what technicians and weapons are after. these can be taken from evil creatures, demons and Kishin. If a weapon ate 99 red souls and 1 witch soul, they would traverse into the ultimate weapon form. The death Scythe.

This is what all technicians and weapons strive for. Witches, are out to stop them. However, if enough innocent blue souls are eaten, the host will eventually become what is known as Kishin. A powerful creature covered in madness. they cant think and they don't feel. they just kill and eat. This is why eating Blue souls is so dangerous as they have no control and seek to kill and eat everything.
